We would like to thank everyone who came out to support the organization and the performers. For those of you who couldn’t make it, you’ll get to see highlights in the completed film. The show had a fantastic turnout and we have received a lot of positive feedback from show attendees. Many have expressed regret for not bringing more people along because it far exceeded their expectations.

Amir Abbasi, Jordana Forrest, Claudia Morris-Barclay, and Claire Bradley gave excellent performances and each added their flare to the show.

I also want to thank all of the artists, local businesses, and friends who devoted immeasurable amounts of time, energy, love, and passion into the show. From running lights, to selling glass hearts, or running a sound board, each person’s tireless effort made our show possible, so from the bottom of our hearts, thank you.

And now it’s back to LA. We’ve finished our filming (for now) and are moving into post production soon. We will continue to post updates on the documentary, as well as major updates on Barry and The Heart Foundation.

First of all, Barry was interviewed on Good Morning Atlanta today, which is extremely popular and well-watched in the area. The interview was great and now even the producer and host of the show are coming tomorrow night! Take a look here.

Speaking of which, the show is tomorrow at Atlanta’s Shakespeare Tavern. The doors open at 7pm, and we have a great lineup of performers, including singer/songwriter Claire Bradley, plus Jordana Forest, Claudia Morris-Barclay, and esteemed Atlanta-based DJ Amir Abbasi. Lots of great things are happening with the Atlanta show in June (click here if you haven’t heard about it already). We are currently working on setting up an amazing silent auction and prize booth. So far we have gathered local artwork (Alec Addleton, check her out on facebook), dozens of restaurant gift cards that cover Atlanta (even some of the burbs), celebrity sports jerseys (we can wash them first), an amazing beach house rental that is only a 5 hour drive from Atlanta (Seaside), and the list is growing every day!

Other than that we are really trying to reach out to the Atlanta community to gain interest in Barry’s cause. We have great people helping us out in Atlanta including networking genius’s Bart Clennon, Lindsey Thomas, Adriana Addleton and Bryan Holcombe.
